Panaiotis !

Panaiotis, CEO and Creative Director of PanMuse, LLC, has nearly thirty years of experience developing interactive music technology systems. Panaiotis is a composer/sound designer with extensive experience writing for dance, theater, film and video. He has taught at UNM, Stetson University, and Rollins College, among others. He has periodically been involved with projects in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at UNM, and has taught multimedia software, control design, and digital arts in various interdisciplinary departments, including ECE, Cinema, Theater & Dance, and Music.

Lisa Maynes

Lisa Maynes, CTO of PanMuse, LLC, earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico, as well as an M.S. in Computer Graphics and a B.A. in Physics from Cornell University. She has extensive programming experience in simulation, robotics, and graphics software, as well as a background in computer-aided engineering, image processing, evolutionary computation, physics, optics and biology. She was a co-founder and principal programmer for Albuquerque-based startup Comet Solutions Inc., and worked for Sandia National Laboratories in their Intelligent Systems and Robotics Center, and their Satellite Ground Systems program. Earlier she worked for Digital Equipment Corporation in their advanced development center for Graphics Hardware. She has had a lifetime passion for the performing arts, leading her to compete in partner dance, teach Nia, DJ for dance events, and perform in dance, music and theatre. She is also deeply interested in all aspects of teaching and learning, and has taught many subjects at many levels. As the mother of a 13-year-old, she has volunteered in many capacities at his schools. Her dream would be to design tools and immersive spaces for technology-enhanced dance and music.
